Message Put them around the edge of the car on the ground as a barrier. If you're going to put anything inside the car, use a dessicant.

If you put it up on blocks then take off the tires and wheels so the weight doesn't hang on the suspension all winter. Personally, I prob wouldn't bother with jacking for one winter, but I have tendencies toward laziness (sig quote). I would like to start the car two or three times during the winter, put it in gear and move it a couple of feet forward or backwards.

Pulling the battery - good. Fuel stabilizer, can't hurt. Most folks would leave the tank full. I would just fill the tank and leave it. In the spring, right before I started the engine I would add some dry alcohol or that stuff you buy in a bottle and the auto parts store that absorbs water.
